After finding a pile of leftover canvas, edition.studio invited Tourist Studio and Thomas d’Enfert to collaborate on a design to create functional objects using salvaged material. With the amount of fabric available and the addition of ink and thread, we assembled 19 bucket hats, each of which is unique, numbered, hand-made, and screen-printed in NY. We invited the photographer Dan McMahon to collaborate with us on a street photography series that integrates the bucket hats. This project was on exhibition for 4 days at the gallery XXXI, NYC in East Village, from August 20th to August 23rd, 2019.
